Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Area Plan & Sales Inventory Manager, maintain retail store in Mongolia and provide service for Mongolia.

Customer service for the local saints in Mongolia retail store.

Manages resources including staff, Inventory, and Equipment to run the retail operation.

Other miscellaneous work to help maintain the regular work of the Mongolia service center.
Qualifications:

Current temple-recommend.

High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of post-high school education, or training and five years of work experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Ability to handle customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.

Proficiency in the use of personal computers and basic applications (i.e., Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet research; and be service-oriented and personable.

Accountant or Accounting Assistant(Contract Employee)
Finance and Record Department, Asia North Area
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze budgets and financial statements using information from operating statements, account ledgers, project tracking systems, etc.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in Mongolia.
- Coordinate with external accounting, audit, and tax professionals for regulatory reports and compliance.
- Perform financial administration such as managing banks, processing payments, monitoring corporate cards, etc.
- Create reports, charts, and graphs illustrating findings. Recommend adjustments.
- Provide business reviews or ad hoc business-related projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Two to Five years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or equivalent.
- Must demonstrate understanding of accounting principles and Church accounting systems.
- Operate a personal computer and have knowledge of basic software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Mongolian and English.
- Analytical and detail oriented; excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Job Description:
Digital Communication (60% of the time)
- Implement the Church Communication strategies of the headquarters and the Asia North Area
- Measure the outcome of the implementation, and provide ideas for improvement
Relationship Building With External Key Stakeholders (40% of the time)
- Identify, collaborate, and build relations with civic leaders, media, and leaders of other faiths

CHURCH HISTORY MULTI-AREA MANAGER (ASIA & ASIA NORTH AREAS)
The Church History Multi-Area Manager assists the Church History Department in its purpose to help God's children make and keep sacred covenants by managing all efforts to collect, preserve, and share Church history throughout the Asia & Asia North Areas.
Job description:

Identify key people, places, events, and developments related to the Church in the Asia and Asia North Areas.

Lead efforts to collect and preserve historically significant records (e.g., oral histories, photographs, journals, etc.).

Train and direct a network of volunteers to carry out Church History Department priorities & initiatives.

Provide information and support to Area Presidencies and Area Office staff, contribute to area initiatives, develop plans and budgets, and actively participate in area committees.

Consult with Area Office personnel and other headquarters departments to share Church history through websites, publications, exhibits, historic markers, and anniversary events.
Requirements:

Master's degree OR equivalent experience in business management, history, library and archival studies, anthropology, religious studies, or other related fields.

8-10 years of professional experience managing people and working cross-functionally with demonstrated abilities to teach, motivate, and mentor a volunteer workforce. Transnational experience desired.

Responsibilities:
This position helps make gospel teaching, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way. Also this role requires the administration of all purchasing activities within an assigned area.
In this role, the incumbent:
- Directs care for all store operations to ensure superior customer service; Develops marketing plans and operation goals to improve effectiveness; Optimizes product display and satisfies customer expectations.
- Sales Inventory: Assures that inventory on the floor is adequate to meet customer needs by overseeing store operations, using reports, and observation.
- Retail Management: Assures that the store is attractively displayed, well presented, that adequate inventory is on the shelf, and proper layout facilitates traffic management; face to face interaction with customers to resolve more critical customer service concerns.
- Assists with implementing continuous improvement programs in all areas of responsibility including stock, merchandising and training.
- Requires daily interaction with requester and supplier representatives to provide technical and new product information, information on Church policies and procedures and solving problems.
- Assists requesters to accurately determine their needs and provides them with appropriate options for best value that will meet their needs and comply with Church policy. Ensures accurate orders of procurement are made that meet customer’s expectations by carefully reviewing requisitions/purchase orders.
